Recessed teeth operations:
What is meaning recessed teeth?
The recessed teeth are teeth which cannot take their normal position remaining within the jaw bone even that the continuation time has came. The most often 20 years (wisdom) teeth are remaining regressed. Following of these frequently the canine tooth with other words the dogtooth may remain recessed within the jaw bone. In general the recessed canine teeth are leading to resorption of roots of incisors from the upper posterior portion or to missing teeth. In some situations the recessed canine teeth are pushed to their initial positions with orthodontic treatment. If this is not possible and if the canine teeth affect negatively the other teeth they should be extracted.

In which situations the 20 years teeth should be extracted?
1- Caries: Due that the 20 years teeth in terms of position are very behind and in general they cannot continuing in a smooth line their cleaning and care is more difficult and due to this reason they are decaying easily. After these teeth are decayed due that they are very behind their treatments are also difficult. Furthermore due to their root canal structures which are different from the other teeth the canal treatment cannot be applied in most of situations. The extraction of these teeth is preferred due to avoid situations such pain, abscess and malodor which may appear as a result of caries.
2- Their effect to 2nd molar: due that 20 years teeth in general cannot continue in a smooth position with the cumulation of food lefts near them or with the pressure made to their adjacent molar teeth result in agent loss and caries at the adjacent tooth. In this way the 20 years teeth which are potentially harmful shall be extracted.
3- Pericoronitis: (gum inflammation) In situation in which the 20 years teeth remain partially recessed an infection may develop as a result of bacteria cumulated between its above gums. Situations such distention of face, difficulty in opening of mouth, pain, malodor, blain at lymph and fever may be seen during this infection.
4- Crowding of teeth: When the 20 years teeth cannot continue in their normal position, due to the pressure applied to teeth during the continuation may lead to the briskness at the other teeth and situations such crowding of teeth may be observed.
5- Pain: When the 20 years teeth cannot continue in their normal positions they lead to pain due to the pressure applied by them to adjacent teeth.
6- Forming of cyst: In situations in which the 20 years teeth are completely recessed or partially recessed at some of the patients they may lead to the forming of cyst. This situation may be diagnosed by means of panoramic x-rays to be rayed by your doctor during the examination.
7- Bite of dimple: Even that is not frequently observed due that in general the 20 years teeth cannot continue in their normal position they may lead to the patients complaints such bite of dimple and laceration of mucosa. In such situations the 20 years teeth may also be extracted because they already do not function normally.

Cyst operations:
The cysts may be observed at jaws due to reasons depending to teeth and not depending to teeth. The cysts are thawing the jaw bone and result in loss of agent and decaying of jaw bone. When they are not treated they are leading to fractures at the jaws and esthetic and functional disorders. It is helpful to go to your dentist and be examined by having a panoramic x ray once at 6 months due to diagnose in time. In our clinic firstly for diagnose small parts are taken from these kind of cysts and after the histopathology examination the necessary treatments are made.

Endodonthic surgery:
In such situation the canal treatment may be not sufficient for the curing of lesions of root apexes and adjacent lesions of teeth. In such situations by means of endodonthic surgery the infected tissues from the apexes of teeths roots are cleaned with a simple operation.

Teeth implants: (Teeth transplantation):
The implant application is the operation of placing the artificial teeth roots made in special of titanium due to functionality and estheticism in place of missing teeth. The implants are cylindrical titanium screws which dimensions are in general changing between 8mm and 16mm and which diameters are between 3mm and 5mm. In each situation of missing teeth if there is sufficient bone in the jaw bone in which we may place the implant the implant treatment may be applied. Another treatment option is cutting and modeling of collateral teeth and applying over them denture prosthesis such bridge plate applied at the single tooth absences. However one of the most important advantages of the implant treatment is that any operation is not made to adjacent teeth and the agent is not removed during the implant application. Other than these the prosthesis used at the mouths without teeth are possible to give discomfort due to reasons such affecting and effects of tongue and muscles and moving. By means of implant treatment at the jaws without teeth according to the situation of the case with the implant application in quantity considered necessary by the dentist they patients have fix and natural looking prosthesis. Due to the implant treatment the decaying of jaw bone which remains blank is avoided. Together with avoiding the decaying of bone the natural contours of face are maintained. The patient may easily eat the foods such apples and steaks which were difficult to be eaten with movable prosthesis such individuals with normal teeth and gains the normal biting and chewing. The life quality of patients is increasing due that patients gain self confidence due to the stable and natural looking teeth. The implant application may be made to every healthy individual whose jaw development has been completed. The life of implants are in general changing depending on factors such general health of patient and dental care but there are implants remaining in mouth for 30 years. At the scientific studies made it has been shown that the success rate at the implant application is changing between 90% and 100%.As it is at every medical intervention is not possible to 100% guarantee the implant. An implant operation is completed approximate within 30 minutes with local anesthesia and is a completely painless operation. The patients have their prosthesis between 3 and 6 months after the implant. During this tam is provided the complete junction of the bone. In case it is considered suitable by our dentist you may use temporary plates within this time. The implant treatment is a more expensive treatment compared with other dentistry treatments. This is due that used parts are produced and imported with high technologies.
